The Peak, 3/22/06: it's 1980
« on: March 22, 2006, 07:30:00 AM »
WONDERING WHERE THE LIONS ARE - BRUCE COCKBURN
A CERTAIN GIRL - WARREN ZEVON
THIS BEAT GOES ON/SWITCHIN' TO GLIDE - THE KINGS
ONCE IN A LIFETIME - TALKING HEADS
PLAY THAT FAST ONE (ONE MORE TIME) - ROCKPILE
BEHIND THE LINES - GENESIS
SCARY MONSTERS (AND SUPER CREEPS) - DAVID BOWIE
HUNGRY HEART - BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN
LOVE WILL TEAR US APART - JOY DIVISION
THE VERY LAST TIME - UTOPIA

Well, there's 3 or 4 cuts I don't think Dave's ever touched: the Zevon, Rockpile, Joy Division and possibly the Utopia.  Gaz misses out on his fave backing vox from Flo & Eddie.
You spin me right 'round, baby, right 'round

I was listening, just too busy to post and nothing seemed to demand a response.  Except a BOS to "Love Will Tear Us Apart If It Doesn't Keep Us Together."
“The choir of children sing their song.  They've practiced all year long.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.”
