GD, "Eyes of the World" to kick it off, after a thankfully brief listen to Sen. Sam Ervin doing "Bridge Over Troubled Water".

I have that Senator Ervin track on one of my "Golden Throats" comps.  Will send an MP3 if any of you really need to hear it in its entirety.

And this Dead track is sounding quite nice, though I wish the vocals were stronger.  This is a Hunter lyric, I presume?

I had to Google to find out this is Tommy Bolin, "Alexis". BOS for breakout-ness alone.

according to KBCO's Now Playing feature this is The James Gang, "Alexis".  Sounds good, & it's a new one on me.

Form AMG,
Review by Stephen Thomas Erlewine
Bang was the first record the James Gang recorded with Tommy Bolin, a former member of Zephyr. While the songs were still fairly undistinguished, Bolin's playing was imaginative and captivating, making the lack of interesting material forgivable.

1  Standing in the Rain  Bolin  5:05
2  The Devil Is Singing Our Song  Bolin, Tesar  4:22
3  Must Be Love  Bolin, Cook  3:48
       4  Alexis  Bolin, Cook  5:07
5  Ride the Wind  Bolin, Kenner  3:45
6  Got No Time or Trouble  Bolin, Tesar  3:47
7  Rather Be Alone With You [Aka Song for Dale]  Kenner  2:05
8  From Another Time  Bolin, Tesar  4:00
       9  Mystery  Bolin, Tesar  6:10

"ooh la la" indeed!  Ginger rules, as usual -- a Deeper-Than-Deep Cuts kinda '73 set.

VHM "Hypnotized", closest we've come to an overplayed song -- and it's song #7. THAT's variety!

I'm assuming this LP was a late-'73 release; I always associate this song with early '74.
