always nice to hear the Symphony version of "Star Wars", which was a Top 20 single in its own right, at the same time Meco's version was a smash.

In my email I mentioned it being my 43rd, but he either didn't notice or just likes to say that about somebody once in a while.  I said:

howsabout "Miss Misery" from Good Will Hunting by the late great Elliott Smith?  It got beat out for an Oscar in '97 by Titanic's "My Heart Will Go On" (which would also give you an excuse, however slim, to play a snippet of the Kinsey Sicks' spoof thereof).  

In fact playing "Miss Misery" right after this here "Miserlou" would have some nice alliteration...
