snorer of a set, mostly. can i have a little richard marx, maybe? "don't mean nothin'?" or was that '88?

that was indeed '87...  as was "When Smokey Sings", "I Knew You Were Waiting"...

I'll VHM U2 just 'cause it is one of the great songs.  Love the bluegrass cover version by Dale Ann Bradley.

So will Dave "kick off" the N.O. Weekend with a N'awlins set tomorrow? Or will he save it for Fat Tuesday?

BOS2 "Alex Chilton". Tho' I've mondegreened it as "children by the millions sleep with Alex Chilton"

it's "always with you, always with me" by joe satriani. couldn't walk into a guitar shop at the time without some wankhole playing it on a marshall.

"wankhole" is the operative word here.

Dave's IM status sez "ANYBODY wanna hear the FULL version of 'The Ballad of Jim & Tammy' "

I told him I'd be OK with it and asked him what the verdict was and he said "next time...maybe."
Let's get right to it.

Everything that set a month ago wasn't, this one is. And vice versa.
Let's get right to it.

I'll wager you're the only one here who's heard the whole LP.  Song's not terrible, just egregiously overplayed by Dave.  And here's Mr Cray bragging about what a strong persuader he is. Showoff.
