Take a load off your fanny... and vote Smokey BOS!

I called in my vote & took the opportunity to also lobby Dave to play "When Smokey Sings" next time he goes to '87.

Bless you, my son.

But we got TWO breakouts in the last '87 set, so that means Dave won't be updating his playlist for at least a decade

BOS3 "San Jose's own" People, "I Love You".

least necessary: "Sunshine of Your Love". But that's just me.

BOS Revolution!

You know, I really like this song but I like the fast version a LOT better, in fact it's one of my very favorite Beatles songs...

Anyone else have an opinion about Revolution slow vs. fast?

I probably prefer fast, but when the slow one came out it made the lyrics more discernable. Revolutionary mondegreen: "and if you go carrying pictures of Gemini" -- yes, my 13-year-old ears really heard it that way.

i always used to think "chairman mao" was "truman now."

BOS Cream -- I can still remember hearing Sunshine of Your Love played at a 7th or 8th grade dance, by some band which was probably really lousy but I didn't care at the time, cause all I could think of was getting up the nerve to ask a girl to dance...  Boy that was pressure.......
Now I'm eight bits...

I'm sorry, I just can't quite figure out what he's singing about.

ooo! BOS4 "Does Your Mama Know About Me", an interracial love anthem that could easily be a gay one too. I wonder if any Gay Men's Choruses have ever had it in their repetoires.

It's "dawn surprise". And I thought it was "till my seed's all dry, love"(?)

Absolutely--not a bustout (I think DM pulled it out once last year) but still a great great tune. BOS3 (or was that 4?)
Let's get right to it.

see above. Dave plays it quite often, actually, it's a fave of his.

ETA: Oh... Bobby Taylor and the Vancouvers. Featuring Tommy Chong!

also unnecessary: "Born to Be Wild".  And probably "Grapevine", too, but I'll let that pass as a reference to the upcoming Marvin biopic.
