I always forget how good a song "The Runner" is.  A Manfred Mann GH compilation must be the most chaotic and uneven listen ever for a greatest-hits collection.

Gets my BOS so far.  I had a whole bunch of MM's Earth Band records & was really into them at the time.

Ya know, at first I didn't remember it was Mannfred Mann.  I thought it was John Paar.  Can ya hear it?

Now that you say so, I can totally hear that.  I'll have to check who the songwriters are on that!

HM to "For the Longest Time."  Dave, lurk much?

Ah, Mike's gonna be bummed. He'd be digging this Billy Joel doo-wop homage (The Longest Time) most certainly.
Let's get right to it.

Me Dave, or He Dave?  I don't lurk much -- if I'm not posting, I'm probably not listening.   But yeah, I'm a bit scarce lately.

And a VHM to the Big Country tune--I kinda dig hearing guitars sound like bagpipes.

The two Katrinas (EC and Wang Chung) and the Sally of all Sallys notwithstanding, this has been a nice reminder that 84 had some good pop songs.
Let's get right to it.

But what does the electoral college have to say on the matter?
