Dang Me!!

Ginger kicks off with Spirit "I Got A Line On You", not such a stretch, but then she goes to Astral Weeks for "Sweet Thing".

For all that many, many, MANY critics claim this is one of the Top 10 or 20 albums of all time, you just NEVER hear anyone play it on the radio.

Mike, what's Ginger's number?  I really got to thank her personally for that one.

Now whenever I hear "Love Street" I picture Meg Ryan.  Which I guess would be a good thing if I were straight, but...

Is that I pop culture ref that I am missing, or just some personal quirk?

For myself, I think of Meg Ryan every time I drive through the Presidio.

VHM HAL.

BOS 4 "Chest Fever", an appropriate number considering the avatars around here lately.

Quite enjoyed Chest Fever, although it sounds to me like the stream is a bit off--I'm getting one channel in both speakers--I can barely hear the strings in Martha My Dear.

And back to The Band for a sec--about an hour ago, as a "today" song they played Susan Tedeschi covering the Band's Loving You Is Sweeter Than  Ever. And it sounded really great--that's one of the Band's lost gems, so it's good that someone finally pulled it out and gave it new life.

VHM to Pat Paulsen.
Let's get right to it.

actually it's one of the Four Tops' lost gems, which the Band covered.
