On today’s edition of Soundwaves 10@10, we continue a time-honored 10@10 tradition with a twist:
we’ve got nothing but turkeys: big hits that were pleasant, but really dumb. The twist is that they are
all requests. Pro tip: this edition will longer than usual because – who doesn’t overeat on Thanksgiving –
and the last song runs a whopping 14 minutes long! Gobble, gobble!

Alice's Restaurant has the obvious association with the holiday, and back in the day
WPLJ played it in its entirety on Thanksgiving when spinning a whole album side was a
remarkable act.
