Now he's saying this is the first he's heard of his impending fatherhood. So something's up here:

Here's a product perhaps Brady & Moynihan could endorse:

I posted this under "Gossip" instead of "Funny Stuff" because I don't believe it's true.

50-Foot Michael Jackson Robot to Roam Vegas Desert?

Hilarious discussion about it here:

This would make more sense if the dateline were Sunday.

Funny I was just trying to read that article, but the Chron's servers seem to be a tad overloaded with folks trying to find out what the scoop is on the freeway mess in the EB. The latest word is that it'll be at least 6 weeks before they can even get the steel due to a shortage. So much for fast-tracking this project, eh, Arnie? How about free transit for the next two months til the project is done? (Although it won't matter much to me--my FastPass for May is already bought and paid for.)

How was your commute this am, Mike? More folks on BART than usual? (Or at least more than last week?)
Let's get right to it.

I noticed no diff, but then I take either a Richmond or Bay Pt train from SF.  I assume the Fremont and Dublin trains were far more crowded.

And yeah, I've been having probs with sfgate.com all day.  I'm jonesin' for Tim G's "Sopranos" analysis.

Heard him on the Morning Show today, he gave the latest ep a pretty poor review, said it just wasn't up to snuff and seemed rushed, all points to which Irish Greg (who'd brought it up) agreed completely.

Picked this thread for two reasons: Yes, it's gossip, but it's also Beej-related.

I ran into Our Man Beej on the Montgy. Muni platform last eve, so we rode out to the Sunset together. And during our conversation, he dropped the tidbit that he's gettin' hitched! He and the Beej-babe have decided to tie the knot, probably in a year or so. He seemed pretty jazzed about it. So of course I promised to spill the beans to y'all.

On a more immediate level, he was rather consumed with final prep for his current show, which opens Thursday night at the Randall Museum here in SF. I trust y'all got an e-mail about it, but if not and you're interested, I can post details here. Beej is the lead in this one and it's directed by our long-departed pal and 10@10 curmudgeon Rasztrelnikov.
