« on: May 29, 2017, 08:49:29 AM »
5/29:

On today’s edition of Soundwaves 10@10, we celebrate the 50th anniversary of one of the
most influential (and most covered) albums ever! From Cheap Trick and Joe Cocker to The
Runaways and The Flaming Lips, we’re going to play the entire album as covered by the
most genre-spanning artists imaginable!

We’ve all hear Sgt. Pepper in it’s entirety a million times. Today, we’re going to hear it a
little differently.

Quite a line-up, and nice touch to add the "Penny Lane" and "Strawb Fields" covers. Listening just to hear the Mickey Dolenz track.

Overall, nicely done. Coulda done w/out Miley Cyrus, but I suppose that was preferable to Elton or Shatner.

BOS: Jeff Beck.

Bleah, not enjoying Eddie Izzard's massacre of "Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite".

This is from the ""Across the Universe" soundtrack, a movie by Julie Taymor. That one grew on me.
