9 Dec 2016: it's... 1987
« on: December 09, 2016, 09:49:24 AM »
Funny: after a very lackluster '87 set from the Peak earlier, this one looks better, simply because it includes a few pop nuggets including a couple of bustouts. (and a few FFs too) And one song shared by both sets today.

I count 3 bustouts: Boy George (BOS1), Lisa Lisa (BOS2) and Starship (which is also my WOS).

BOS3 a-ha's underrated "Living Daylights" (which has appeared in several Bond-theme sets)
You spin me right 'round, baby, right 'round

A few good nuggets in there, but man, there's a healthy helping of cheeze in there too, from song 5 to 9. BOS Prince and Big Mac, WOS to the Starshit.
Let's get right to it.
