Judge gots da disco fever agian -- it's Shalamar's "Uptown Festival", the discofied Motown medley from 1976 that predates "Stars on 45" by 5 years. Haven't heard this since it was a hit.

Is the KPOO stream maintaining a steady flow now? I went there for a bit after 10@10 and it was buffering constantly, so I bailed.
Let's get right to it.

OMGWTF! Abaco Dream, "Life & Death in G & A", a Sly Stone composition/production from '69 or so that I haven't heard since then. What a fabulous lost track!  Props to Judge, he is blowing my mind today.

And followed by a ReeRee twin-spin, "Brand New Me" & "Don't Play That Song".  I'm in Soul Heaven today.

TANC: Went to the Baseball Hall of Fame exhibit at the Oakland Museum on Saturday -- one of the displays pertaining to Baseball & popular culture features the sheet music to "Love is Like a Baseball Game"... and here it is, by the Intruders!

I only just found out about this song a couple weeks ago.  They had the first entry in the alphabetical Hot 100 history until Aaliyah came along.  I've still never heard that song; anything like his production for Little Sister?
“The choir of children sing their song.  They've practiced all year long.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.”

Yes -- very much so.  If you were hearing it for the first time, you'd say "Is this Sly?"
