a TOTHC for Alicat: Frampton, "Something's Happening", one of the few tracks from that LP that isn't egregiously overplayed. VHM.

Any set with "Silver, Blue & Gold" in it is a good set.

My rai-ai-ainbow is overdue.

VHM Orleans, a song that was destined to be an ABC fall-season promo jingle.

I love the baritone guy on the backing vox.

Pure Pop for AOR people!  BOS2 4 Seasons, "Dec '63 (Oh What a Night)". Despite Gaz's protestations (I feel your pain, bub) this remains, for me, one of the 3 or 4 best pop singles of that year.

Hard to believe, now, that Stallone got TWO Oscar noms for Rocky (Actor and screenplay).

BOS3 Thin Lizzy "Jailbreak".

Among the Worst Lines Ever:

"We've been together since way back when."

Since they were motherless children, I imagine.
“The choir of children sing their song.  They've practiced all year long.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.”

Ever notice that Bob, Ginger, and Dave are all remarkably democratic when it comes to the Steely Dan catalogue?  Nothing's overplayed, and all of their charting singles and significant album tracks get equal representation, with the possible exception of "Black Friday."
