18 March 2016: it's... 1991
« on: March 18, 2016, 07:51:36 AM »
No thread and I didn't hear a promo.   I'm guessing early '80s.

And I'm quite annoyed to be wrong: 1991.  Fishbone "Everyday Sunshine" is a nice, relatively rare start, however.

PsyFurs "Until She Comes" gets a VHM.

Appears to be a bustout but the search feature here has failed me before, so take it with a grain.

I missed most of these, but they're almost all NTM. She's really digging well these days.

Naked Gun 2-1/2 --> U2 try to throw they arms around da world.  Also fairly rare (one spin from AL and one from DM who played it in the wrong year).

I see four instances:  once in 2006 through 2009 inclusive.

heard the first half in the car & was enjoying it very much.

I loves me some (actually just about any) Madchester.  Always wonder why songs like this Primal Scream one, Happy Mondays "Step On", Charlatans "The Only One I Know", and one or two by Stone Roses are NOT in the semi-regular KFOG rotation, especially the "Your Weekend KFOG" rotation.  For example why don't I hear them with roughly the same frequency as James "Laid"?

ETA:  So I tutor from 4-7 & get in my car to go home.  Turn the ignition & what is the first "Your Weekend KFOG" song that I hear?

James "Laid"

Ha!
