18 December 2015: it's 1977?
« on: December 17, 2015, 05:30:35 PM »
One would assume, that's the only Star Wars release year left to us.
Let's get right to it.

Would think so, other than 2005, which would be bad.  Very bad.

Anyway, I've been researching possible suggestions, and trying to tie them to a seque.  One I came up with:

Luke: "I have a very bad feeling about this."

into ...

Peter Frampton, "I'm in You"

But that's just mean.

Or the TH, "Psycho Killer".  Though for Psycho Killer I was thinking this:

Quote
Princess Leia Organa: No! Alderaan is peaceful! We have no weapons, you can't possibly...

Governor Tarkin: [impatiently] You would prefer another target, a military target? Then name the system! I grow tired of asking this so it will be the last time: *Where* is the rebel base?

Princess Leia Organa: ...Dantooine. They're on Dantooine.

Governor Tarkin: There. You see, Lord Vader, she can be reasonable. Continue with the operation; you may fire when ready.

Princess Leia Organa: WHAT?

Governor Tarkin: You're far too trusting. Dantooine is too remote to make an effective demonstration - but don't worry; we will deal with your rebel friends soon enough.

Yep, sets the tone so we can move on to (hopefully) better things.

(1977 is not my fave year; as Wayback Dischead pointed out, there's a lot to not like in that year.)

Marilyn McCoo & Billy Davis? An acceptable level of cheeze in this one.

Let's get right to it.

um, The Records , "Starry Eyes"?  Best guess from Google, but they also say it's from '78.

ETA:  Guess not, see Mike's post below.  NTM.

Well, well, well...

The celestial theme continues with Roky Erickson's Starry Eyes. Possible Bustout, BOS1.
