TOTHK: Macy Gray
#2: Stoned Pimple Toilets: Sour Girl*

*Which was also song #2 in the Scott Weiland RIP set a mere 10 days ago. Good song, not sure it warrants getting played twice in a fortnight.

On the other hand, it gave me a good opportunity to go get another cup of coffee.

3. Santana/Dave Matthews - Love of my Life
4. Filter - Take a Picture

Mike may have made the right call today. I can't say I'm having warm fuzzies for any of these songs.
Let's get right to it.

5. Moby - Natural Blues
6. Sting - Brand New Day

At least most of these songs aren't in the regular KFOG rotation right now, but the player seems able to identify all of them. That's never a good sign.

Ugh, this Sting song is the most LN of set.

Also: Lots of clips from Episode I: The Phantom Menace in today's set. Does this foretell that we'll get sets from '77, '80, '83 and 2002 in random order for the rest of this week? (Please, no 2005 set.)
Let's get right to it.

8. Pearl Jam - Last Kiss

Oh. Please. No.
Let's get right to it.

9. Tom Waits - Hold On
10. Len - Steal My Sunshine

OK, I'll give a BOS for the Waits, but it's not exactly his best, or even the best on that album. Len = meh.
Let's get right to it.

I can always give a BOS for Take A Picture.  Love that song, it's one of my two (maybe three) favorites of the year.

...and here is one of the others that tops my list, BOS #2 Len.  I still contend this was one of the cleverest samples of the decade.

Annalisa just said that what she intends to do.

At least that means we'll get one 70s set and a couple of early 80s set this week.

My thought as well, and confirmed in the backsell.  Not looking forward to '77 (one of the worst
years ever), but '80 or '83 might be good.

...and presumably not 2005, since we had it only 11 days ago.
