12 Oct 2015: an "encore" from... 1983
« on: October 12, 2015, 08:21:57 AM »
Back to the '90s today, I'm guessing. Unless there's an old "Indigenous Peoples" set I'm not aware of.

back to '83, with Red Rockers and a fine TOTHK.

I was never fond of "Choina".

10/11/10- Blue Monday in....1983!!

 1.  Red Rockers- China
 2.  Big Country - Fields Of Fire (400 Miles)
(News: Grenada)
 3.  U2 - Refugee
 4.  Frida - I Know There's Something Going On
 5.  New Order- Blue Monday (BOS-tie!)
(News: economy, etc)
 6.  Depeche Mode - Everything Counts
 7.  Flock Of Seagulls - Wishing (If I Had A Photograph of You)

(Movie: Superman 3)
 9.  B-52's - Whammy Kiss (BOS-tie!)

Frida knows there's something going Phil. I think it's coming in the air tonight.

Looong version of "Let Me Go"? I think the New Order was a 12" mix too.

WOS for Flock of Seagulls. I never understood why people liked their off-key drones.

Ooh, one of the nearly hour-long sets from Annalisa 1.0! Me likey.

I’ll BOS everything, especially since she played my favorite Depeche Mode & Flock of Seagulls songs. IIRC, Blue Monday was actually a bustout when this set originally aired.

Very Devo-like B52's tune.

actually, she'd played it once previously, but it's kind of astounding that Dave never had.

Seconded. If forced to pick just one, I'll take Depeche Mode.
