I went for soup at Napa Ranch today (mmmm, Creamy Curry Chicken).  They have a daily trivia question, first twelve right get a free cookie.  Today's question:

What age was Loretta Lynn when she first became a grandmother?

I guessed 37.

No cookie for me.  But she whispered the answer to me.  So let the guessing begin.

FWIW, my next door neighbor from some years ago, a woman named Terri, had her firstborn, Honey, at age 14.  Honey thereupon had her firstborn at 13; and Terri became a grandmother at 28.  So this stuff's not unheard of by any stretch.
