yeah, a lot o' that sorta stuff in the thread. I'd prefer "hot" songs to "summer" songs, personally.  I have a feeling Santana's "Smooth" may make an appearance (oh it's a hot one/Like 7 inches from the midday sun...).

Agreed about "hot" vs. "summer."  Hot, warm, sweat (except Cold Sweat, natch) would all work really well. I'll be surprised if my request makes it (Hot Freaks by Guided By Voices), but I'd bet she got a smile out of it.

She does seem to be cleaving to the "heat" meme as opposed to summer songs. So there's that.

I think the Cure and Erasure songs were both called out in the request thread. Not so sure about the other two.

ETA: And the Stones as well. BOS2 for me, but I generally love most of the songs from this album.
