Uber-BOS to Weird Al’s funniest (IMO) song!!! I’d requested it every time she posted the Tonya/Nancy picture and had just about resigned myself to not hearing it. And now she plays it. :D

despite the boring parts (DMB CCs, Crapton) this was a pretty decent '94.

I requested it, and I'm surprised (and glad) that AL played it!

OK, OK we get it: the internet was new in 1994.

Actually, the Internet was almost ten years old in 1994.  Commercial access had been available
for two or three years.  A clip about the Canter-Siegel incident would have been timely, though.

WOS and uber-LN (for me personally anyway) DMB "Satellite"
I react to DMB in the 90s the same way I do to Men At Work in 82-83 sets.
I was never a fan, really, and I remain baffled by his huge popularity. He's one of the most boring rock stars ever, IMHO

I don't qualify as a fan, and I'm unlikely to purchase his recordings or attend his concerts.  I hear
him mostly on the radio, and mostly on KFOG's 10@10.  Given that, I don't find him overexposed.
YMMV.

What I hear are songs that are generally positive, and usually thoughtful, rendered by a band
that can actually play their instruments and make music, as opposed to simply banging on them
somewhat rhythmically.  The compositions are not overly dense, yet they are a bit more
complicated and interesting than your average pop/rock tunes.  I think the music of the DMB is
likely to have more staying power in twenty years than many other contemporary pop artists.
De gustibus non disputandum est and all, so I realize that upbeat music played by skilled
musicians for happy people may not be for everybody.

While I'm not at the level that some are about Bruce, I do like DM, with or without the B, and would attend a concert given the right opportunity. Hearing "What Would You Say?" always brightens my attitude. And I own most of his material.
