This is getting to be a trend--Monday=crappy year.
Let's get right to it.

And yet three of us posted threads at exactly the same time.  My last day of vacay, I was hoping for something with a bit more... ooomph.

Is this a breakout?  This mighta been fresh in '91 but it sounds pretty cliche now.

Just checked back a bit & you are more right than I suppposed.  The farthest back Dave has gone on a Monday since summer began is '77 (not counting a classic from '76 when he was on vacay last month).

On June 13 we got a '73 set, which I recall greatly surprised us all.

ETA - This is, however, a perfect theme song for our Monday year-o-set blues:  "That's Just The Way It Is Baby".

Hey Steve, long time!  How ya been? Was thinking about you when we saw all those traffic jams trying to get out of Houston last month.

Too true.  Maybe someday Dave will play "House Is Not A Home".

Regarding your quote, Mike, I think the Colts have bigger jinxes than yours to worry about next week in Foxboro.   :)

I'd accept any year starting with  197--but even by that yardstick, it's been since August (aforementioned classic set notwithstanding).
Let's get right to it.

I was smart enough to watch the traffic reports and not go out in get stuck for 18 hours and run out of gas in what I'd heard before was the "world's worst traffic jam", which was incredibly accurate... at one point I-45 was backed up for 100 miles of traffic!  I just stayed home and watched the madness from the comfort of my living room :)

WOS, CMB "A4L". Dave promised over a year ago to play "I Wanna Sex U Up" --and we're still waiting.
