Threads up early. I won't be able to listen, which means all 4 of my requests will be played.

TOTHK: U2, Gloria (shocker!)

I heard them refer to today as U-Tuesday on the morning show awhile ago. Sigh.
Let's get right to it.

I've never heard "Spellbound" by Siouxsie and the Banshees. Good stuff.

2. Siouxsie & the Banshees - Spellbound

Rarity if not a bustout. BOS contender, fo' sho, but I'm holding out for the song I requested.

3. George Harrison - All Those Years Ago

George's tribute to Lennon. VHM but not exactly rare.
Let's get right to it.

"It Might Get Loud," that movie with The Edge, Jack White and Jimmy Page, gave me some renewed respect for The Edge. Maybe he's not  technically not dazzling, but he did carve out a unique sound on the electric guitar.

Nice Siouxsie song to follow : "Spellbound."  I know only a few of her songs, but this one is fab....

Charles and Diana wedding. "With this wing, I the wed..." Easy to see where Peter Cook came up with the Archbishop character he played in The Princess Bride. "Say Man and Wife!"

> 4. Kim Carnes - Betty Davis Eyes

That's two in the FF column. I'm feeling unheezy.
Let's get right to it.

And one more in the rarity column:

5. The Passions, I'm in Love With a German Film Star

OK, who requested this one?

7. Gary "U.S." Bonds - This Little Girl

If this sounds like Springsteen to you, it should. Produced by Miami Steve and the Boss, and there are E Streeters all over it. BOSs3.

"Stripes" clip (Just the facts, JACK!) > 8. Carl Carlton, She's a Bad Mamma Jamma

Stripes occupies the "must be played every time this year comes up" slot for today.
Let's get right to it.
