I like this Travis song. "Sing Sing Sing"? The John Mayer song didn't do much for me, but it certainly wasn't one of his massively overplayed tunes.

monitoring the list-in-progress on FB and I guess Alicia Keys "Fallin" is our out-of-format bustout today.  Can't say I ever need to hear DMB's "Everyday" or Vedder's Beatles cover ever again.

ETA: and the Shins tune has been in-and-out of regular KFOG rotay for the last decade, thanks to the Garden State sndtk.

Interesting song from Weezer, "Hash Pipe". Seems to borrow rather a lot from other tunes and lyrics. "I can't help my feelings I go out of my mind". Might as well steal from the best.

This White Stripes is NTM. Gotta be a bustout. Pretty crappy song though.

Amusing to see a guy on AL's FB page who didn't know the name of the Shins song (even tho it's pretty much the only song of theirs that KFOG ever plays) -- a reminder that the average Foghead is not us.  This struck me as a pretty blah set but it got nice reviews in 'snipeland.

I also recall KFOG being all over the Afro Celt song when it was out.

Yeah, the Vedder cover, while not necessarily bad, is - what can I say? Completely unnecessary? Slightly different definition than an LN, though.

"Harsh Pipe"? Interns indeed!

And yet it won BOS in snipeland by a landslide.
