The non-East-Coasters in snipeland were baffled by this one and The Fools. Pretenders get a VHM for "Mystery G-Man", one of my fave mondegreens. This would be a BOS in a weaker set but this was most excellent today.
AL must have loaded up her backpack with nuggets from the record cellar. She mentioned last week that she doesn't have the vast KFOG music library to draw from any more -- a lot of it got jettisoned when they relocated from Hawthorne St. So most anything we hear that's a deep cut, it's probably off her own record.
