Yeah, I was afraid A-Ha would appear (it was part of AL's photo-montage last nite) but at least we're getting it out of the way early.  They'll be gone in (less than) a day.

Prince's "Pop Life" is always welcome, however. BOS1 for not being "Raspberry Beret"

"Make My Day" sez Ronnie. "REM is an Uber-LN" sez me. "Can't Get a Bustout From Here". Philo Math was the arithmetic detective, wasn't he?

Nope, Alex Chilton. His r&b period. I want to say AL has played this once before.
Let's get right to it.

Pee Wee --> "Smooth Operator".  This is a pretty autopilot-y set considering the nice asortment of requests last nite.

Roxy Music with another AL standby. I'm getting sleepy.

Sort of -- it's Bryan Ferry, , but most of the players are the same as the last couple Roxy albums, so we'll give you that one.
Let's get right to it.

This set struck me as kinda "meh", tho' it got some nice comments in snipeville.  No bustouts, it would seem, tho' "Never You Done That" has only one prev appearance in 2009, followed by 2 prevs for the Alex Chilton. So them's yer rarities.

I missed almost all of this morning's set, but listening to the backsell it struck me as being almost
entirely "by the numbers."  Another big BOS for Frank Zappa's congressional testimony -- the buzzsaw
line is going in my quote file.  And speaking of Frank, he has been woefully underrepresented in 10@10
over the years.

Hey, look what I just found:

(It's a transcript of his entire appearance at the hearing -- looks like a great read!)
