Seconded!  Friend of mine from grad school was neighbors with him.  His importance to R'n'R history is vastly underrated.

something bloozy I don't recognize.
Elvin Bishop?

I'm hoping for "Fool for Your Stockings", speaking of blooz.

I was guessing Johnny Winter, but no clue what the song was.
Oh yes, that's who that voice was. I knew I recognized the growl, but couldn't come up with the name. Is he the singer, or is it someone else in the band?

I didn't catch the song, but to answer your question, Johnny sang as well as played guitar...

Pretty good count of bustouts given how many times this theme set has been done

1. Fool in the Rain - Led Zeppelin
(Miss S. Carolina misspeaks)
2. Poor Little Fool - Ricky Nelson
(TV: The Office)
3. Fools Gold - Stone Roses
(Fey & Poehler as Palin & Clinton)
4. Fool On the Hill - The Beatles
(Dubya gets fooled again)
5. Won't Get Fooled Again - The Who
(TV: MTM "Chuckles the Clown")
6. April Fools - Rufus Wainwright
(Sports fool: Dennis Rodman)
7. Be Careful With A Fool - Johnny Winter
(More Office)
8. Fools In Love - Joe Jackson
(Movie: Annie Hall)
9. Fooled Around And Fell In Love - Elvin Bishop
10. Love Fool - The Cardigans
(Daily Show on Rob Ford)
11. Chain of Fools - Aretha Franklin
(Mr T Pitys the fool!)

There's almost enough for two shows of these:
