Well, this may stretch things by a minute or two.

ETA: Not sure if this is sacrilegious but I can't hear this song without picturing the Dead doing this with Bob Weir over-emoting on the vocals. Seriously, this was one my fave Dead Dylan covers, along with Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues.

As was pointed out over in GS (by a Snipe I would not have expected it from) other than the Bowie song this was a fairly predictable '66 excursion. Have to agree -- an enjoyable bunch of songs, but short on the rarities. I think Los Bravos gets my vote today.

Yeah, perfectly pleasant collection and if it comes up during the part of the marathon that I get to hear, then that'll be nice, but I'm not crying that I didn't hear it "live".

But BOS "Rain", one of the best B-sides ever.  I was hoping maybe the new PD would allow '60s sets to "go to eleven" again, esp after he let her do "Lucky 13" last week, but I guess not.

My guess is the only reason that set was permitted was it was the first set back after the long layoff combined with the Lucky 13 thing. Otherwise it would have been 10 songs like every other set in recent months.

I never heard the Dead cover Mobile/Memphis, but the first time I heard Phil sing JLTTB,
with appropriate lyric changes,  it was hilarious.
