I'd be happy with that, since I can't listen on Thurs. :)

Also, I note that altho' AL's thread went up relatively early, there are less than 20 comments in that thread as of this morning.

Growing antipathy toward late 80s sets? Could it be?
Let's get right to it.

Heavy on the frequent fliers so far, with the exception of the TOTHK.
Let's get right to it.

7. John Mellencamp - Rave On
8. Siouxsie and the Banshees - Peek-a-Boo  (yay, another rarity)

I have a phone meeting scheduled for right now. So if it happens on time, I will have to bail on the rest of the list. C'est la vie. Quiet here today.
Let's get right to it.

Information Society, with the repeated sample of Spock saying "pure energy"....belated homage to Nimoy?

BOS Robin Hitchcock, VHM Primitives (whom I saw live in a total hole-in-the-wall that year), HM Hiatt & Bangles.

(Dukakis clip?)
9. Robyn Hitchcock and the Egyptians - Balloon Man
(Fatal Attraction clip - Glenn Close)
10. Salt-N-Pepa - Push It

Hitchcock not a rarity per se and always a fave, so BOS2, after Siouxsie.
Also, Fatal Attraction was released in 87, just sayin'.

And, phone meeting pushed half an hour, as often happens.

Was just checking in to see why I have "Cruel Summer" stuck in my head.  Must have been just before or just after the set.

FWIW, if any of you are or have ever been fans of 91X (in TJ/SD...Dred was there for a while), at their end of year countdown, "Peekaboo" finished #1, just ahead of U2's "Desire".
