"Dead Certain" is a stage thriller my friend Diana's been starring in for the last few weeks. It got a great review in The SF Bay Times.
They started at The Next Stage but now they've moved to the Actor's Theater in Union Square. VERY accessible by BART (just get off at Powell Street & head for The Square).
The producer has offered us (10at10ers) $10 tickets (normally $25) for Friday, October 28th. There are 2 shows 8pm & 10pm. We can probably go to either one- but I'm guessing most folks would prefer the 8pm show.
The play itself is about a crippled ex-dancer who hires an actor to help her write a play. The actor arrives at her flat. Things seem normal enough- but as her "play" progresses the actor learns there's more going on than meets the eye. And he might be in big, big trouble!
Sort of a "Sleuth" meets "Misery" meets "whoa.. this is kinda weird".
Clever dialogue! Awesome acting (from both my pal Diana & her co-star)! Gunfire! Music by The Doors!
Any takers?! It's a great chance to see a first-class show in a first-class venue at a low, low price.
