not sure if AL is back today. Too bad we did 1993 recently, since today is Groundhog Day.

WTFF?? it's an encore of last Monday's encore. Stray Cats rumbling yet again. Jeebus.

That is seriously F-ed Up.

Although I missed the ET quote -> "Be Good Johnny" segue the first recent time around, but that is really stretching it for redeeming value.  Somebody should get suspended & put on unpaid leave for this.

Maybe she was supposed to be back, and her flight was delayed, and they had to put something on at the last minute, and this '82 was right there.

yeah, my thought too. But you'd think they'd have a ton of terrific 10@10s on tap (say that 3 times fast)

It really IS Groundhog Day...

...all said, this was one of the best '82 sets in the catalogue.

But I still can't figure out how that Nightwatch clip DIDN'T lead into a Clash song.

This may be the first time an entire show has become LN.

Bwahahaha!

There are only a handful of shows that have aired 3 or more times, iirc. I seem to recall the Morey-era "Horn Rock" set aired 4 or 5 times.

WTFF?? it's an encore of last Monday's encore. Stray Cats rumbling yet again. Jeebus.

You do realize that in fact today's encore^2 is somewhat appropriate?

EDIT: Now that I've read the whole thread, you do realize, LOL. It would've been perfect if this had happened with 1993.

I'd like to believe it was on purpose for that reason, but more likely.... just a screw-up.

Now if last week's 1993 classic had included Groundhog Day clips rather than Mrs Doubtfire (and I'm sure AL did a set that fits that description), then it really woulda been genius to run it twice.

ETA: she actually did a 1993 "Groundhog Day" set on the actual holiday in Feb 2012.

I can only find two instances of "Brass Rock," one in 2005 and its encore in 2007.  I know of
a 1968 show that has aired at least three times.  This kind of thing is very difficult to pull out
of my files.  To begin with, not all encores are labeled as such.  And I have DM shows designated
as encores with no antecedent -- presumably the original aired before recorded history.

I'd wager that this was the set that was supposed to be played in the morning, and somebody
goofed.
