I always thought I Can Help was one that Ringo should have done. When this first came out I thought that's who it was.

Sorry you feel that way -- I always thought this was one of the best produced songs from this era (of anyone's, not just Joni), and it definitely signified her turn toward jazz from the folkier stuff she made her reputation on.

oh it is/was. But it was "the hit" and it's a deep deep LP.
