'72, '78 and '89 are all "due", more or less.

And I'll be in a meeting at 10 so I won't be around for this one... I'd be happy to miss '89  ;)

Now another soft rock fave.

Possibly Jefferson Starship, Runaway

ETA: Yes, yes it is Jefferson Starship, which in turn confirms we are indeed in 1978.

More Rutles ("Living Legends") --> Nick Lowe with Rockpile, They Call It Rock

This has to be leading up to a Rutles tune at some point, doesn't it?

The Rutles clip, "Tight Trousers" --> Rod Stewart, Hot Legs

The Rutles = amusing clips + crappy songs?

The Rutles = amusing clips + too obscure songs?

At first glance it looks like another "Morey on Autopilot" set.  I'm NEVER sorry to miss "Dreadlock Holiday".

Playing Rutles clips without an actual Rutles song (I mean, they're all 2-1/2 minutes long fer cryin' out loud) seems a bit of a cheat.  VHM Nick Lowe.
