Friday is the 25th anniversary of Loma Prieta, so there's that. Either a quake set (cue "Living on the Faultline"!) or 1989, which is certainly due -- last visit 9/4.

Or, if the Giants win tonite, we could get some sort of tie-in with that (tho' better to wait for the World Series next week).

ETA: and it's '89 -- thread just went up.

A lot of folks on FB were requesting earthquake-theme songs; it's not clear at this point whether we're getting 10 songs from '89 or some sort of hybrid set.
