Watching CNN. They're playing "Imagine" in Times Square prior to the ball drop.  Kathy Griffin really needs to shut up for 5 minutes.

Kathy Griffin really needs to shut up for the rest of my life. Cannot express how annoying that skank is.

Bwahaha! Tell us how you *really* feel, buddy.

I'm consistently embarassed by the sort of female entertainers that gay men worship. (See also: Lady Gaga)

I just don't find her schtick remotely funny--it's more insulting. Chelsea Handler is another that falls into the same category.

Btw, Griffin's performance (and I use the term very loosely) got her into hot water with CNN for the second year running. Apparently she was riffing on the proper pronunciation of "Falcon" (the name of the Balloon Boy) and somehow it came out sounding like an F bomb. Can't imagine how that would happen.

It was an entertaining skit. But I probably wouldn't have gotten the NPH without these comments, either. He can ruin my faith with his casual Friday lies...but he's always a Doogie to me.

Princess, you're in Europe so you have an excuse. But seriously, everyone's been calling him NPH since the first Harold & Kumar movie came out.

I saw NPH do Sweeney Todd many years ago at Davies Symphony Hall.  This was waay before his TV comeback of sorts. Patti Lupone had the female lead and George Hearn did the title role:

Ditto, though he is great as Barney.  And also the creepy facist in Starship Troopers, the first thing after Doogie I remember seeing him in.  Still have not seen Harold and Kumar.

Cool clip, I was watching House at the time.  Hugh Laurie rocks too.

I've seen bits and pieces (it also shows up on VH-1 Soul and TV One periodically) -- always a treat.  Never understood if the title was meant to be a takeoff on Woodstock or if it was just an odd coincidence.

Meant to post last nite that the Weather Channel has added an instrumental version of "Eminence Front" to their local forecast rotation.  Smooth Jazz really *is* dead.

I was sleeping during beginning, but caught much of it.  Quite moving.  Identical in structure to the post-9/11 telecast.
Don't stand in the way of LOVE!
