'87 and '81 appear to be due, if that decade is where we're going. Also pretty much any '90s year -- we've only hit the '90s twice in the last 2 months.

Ah, yes, 9/16 is the anniversary of the date that KFOG flipped from "Beautiful music" to demon rock & roll. So '82 tomorrow (even though we just went there 3 weeks ago) would not be unusual.

(And two years ago on that date AL announced her departure for KFOX, and was summarily shown the door. Thank heaven everyone has since come to their senses.)

oops -- forgot the anniversary.  I will probably be in another all-morning meeting, but if so i won't be terribly upset -- I've heard "Rock This Town" more than enuf times in my life to compensate.

I hadn't realized that, but damned if you're not right. Going further back, there were three sets from that decade in May, and since then it's been one 90s set a month. And usually early 90s at that.
