Well Gaz, yer not missing anything here either.  A rare visit to this year for Bob, who treats '86 kinda like Dave treats '95: No pop, no soul, just what was on Album Rock Radio at the time.

Nice to hear "Fall On Me" though.  Nothing wrong with deep R.E.M. cuts.

Opposite to be said about Genesis track.

Yes.  This is one of my favorite latter day Clapton songs.  Like the horn counterpoints.

From the Color Of Money soundtrack, which also features a brilliant instrumental by Mark Knopfler that Dave should really use in his next SI set.

indeed, like "the Future's So Bright..." it's a song about booming economic times that becomes relevant whenever the economy goes thru another cycle.  Not sure about money making a "succulent sound", tho' -- you can't (literally) eat money.
