another old song from a sndtk.  I love Roy Orbison but this is still a cheat , IMHO.

Agreed. Is this the first time she’s put one of these in a position other than #10?

Would love to vote for this as BOS, but I don't think I can, for that very reason.
Let's get right to it.

chain saw ad after a chain saw song into Roy Orbison "In Dreams"

that was a clip from Blue Velvet, as is the song.
I was referring to the connection to the previous chain saw song.

if "Kundalini Express" is your idea of a chainsaw song, you really ARE old. :)

and FWIW, I think Blue Velvet is extemely overrated.

As a musician, I'm referring to a certain guitar tone/style that's heavily used in the song.  I'm probably a little more allergic to that than most.  It was a totally irritating song, sonically, and I'm sorry to disrespect anyone's wonderful music of their youth.  Jimi Hendrix and Blue Cheer pretty much used up all the chain saws a long time ago.

Oh, and one more thing.  I never thought it was an intentional segue; AL is fond of the chain saws, and I'm sure doesn't think about it that way.
