I'm not catching the drug reference in this last tune, does Sugartown mean everyone's using coke?  Coke was, iirc, not well known in 1967.

Now here's "White Rabbit".

So at least three of the songs in this set have been claimed by their authors as anything but drug songs.

"Sugartown" is just, like, a totally groovy place, man.  And in the context of the time, that can mean anything.

Cocaine's been around since the 1800s. Freud loved it. Hell, it was the original ingrediant in Coca-Cola!!!

Sure, but until the mid-late 70's it was not being used by suburban white kids.  And in any case coke is not a "step outside your mind" drug.

Well, there you go. Dave says "Sugartown" is about LSD. Oh, wait. Sugar cubes. OK. That works.

Who's the TOTHC?

American Breed "Step Outside Your Mind".

I tried to find it on Allmusic, but I didn't know it until the back announce.

I think it had better be "Legend of a Mind", 'cuz we can't go through all this without an overt Timothy Leary reference.
