In a review upon the album's release, Rolling Stone writer Ed Leimacher called "Bell Bottom Blues" (as well as "Have You Ever Loved a Woman") filler.
I've never forgiven Rolling Stone for this specific sentence.

This has been a walk on the acoustic/mellow side of 1970, fer sure. I suppose a track from The Stooges' Fun House would be an even bigger long shot than usual today.
