'twas ever thus, at least once DC came in. (Well, OK her '80s sets then were better than that, and she did '86 and '87 the past 2 weeks, and they tend to be lackluster.) We'll see how much New Wave from the "record cellar" she gives us when she does '82 or '83. By the progression above, her first '60s set outghta be phenomenal

It's the Curse of the KFOG format from late '80's on. I wonder if any powers-that-be at the station (besides Constantine in his heyday) put pressure on the DJ to be so format-friendly, or if the DJ is playing to perceived audience expectations, or, heaven forfend, that's the s**t she actually likes best.

I didn't listen to today's show, but the set list is wicked awesome.
