Hey, keep it down!  I'm trying to watch!

You (and Wayback) may not know this, but I have a distaste for Timmy Leary: I still think he was a government plant.  So I recast this song as an ode to Marcel Marceau.
“The choir of children sing their song.  They've practiced all year long.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.”

BOS3 to Los Bravos, "Bring a Little Water," one Dave hasn't trotted out in ages.

And our third vinyl entry of the morning (along with the Dells and the Beatles outtake).

Argh, Dave mis-called it "Bring a Little Lovin'."

Am I the only one who foregos the replays anymore?

It depends on how good the sets were. In the evening, if it was decent, i'll listen in bed (and usually drift off before it's over). If it was a worthless late '80s/early '90s thing, I'll take a pass.  On Saturday... the days of setting the alarm for 7am are long gone.  I turn it on when I get up and take my chances.

Unfortunately, having to listen via the web has changed my listening habits a bit. Given my relocation, I'm about as likely to listen in the evening as I am in the morning--it just depends on what I'm doing on a given day. If I've missed an obviously good set in the am, I'll make a bigger effort to tune in that night, but sometimes it's not convenient for me to be sitting at the computer. And I never listen on Saturdays anymore, although I rarely set the alarm to get up at 7 even when I lived in SF.
Let's get right to it.

I would've liked to hear Fever Tree again.  I don't really hear that kind of oldie anywhere else I listen.

10/24/08 – Friday!  Back, Back, Back to…1968!!!

1.  Rascals – A Beautiful Morning
2.  Tommy James & the Shondells – Mony Mony
3.  Band – The Weight
4.  Marvelettes – My Baby Must Be a Magician
5.  Dells – There is
6.  Beatles – Hey Jude
7.  Los Bravos – Bring a Little Lovin’
8.  Fever Tree – San Francisco Girls (Return of the Native)
9.  Amboy Dukes – Journey to the Center of the Mind/Scottish Tea
10. Moody Blues – Legend of a Mind (BEST OF SET!!)

BONUS TRACK:  Rolling Stones – Sympathy for the Devil
Don't stand in the way of LOVE!

My mistake: It IS called "Bring a Little Lovin'."
