As I've said before, the LP was critically trashed at the time, but it sounds great 35 years later.

BOS3 BBs, "Surf's Up". But I fear our hopes for a bustout are fading...

yeah, I voted for SU via IM, but everything we've heard has been played before.

But this sound bite is new, I think?
Let's get right to it.

Annalisa's trivia question, essentially, was "how many members were in the FIVE MAN Electrical band?"  Well, she didn't say the band's name, she said "the band that did 'Signs'".

Fogheads guessed "3", "4", and "8" before we got a winner...

Thank god, the bonus track was better than the question (how many members in the band that did signs?). But he went for his first option, Allman Bros. Band Statesboro Blues.

I was hoping the Foghead would call an audible and ask for Mountain Jam or In Memory of Elizabeth Reed tho. That's really throw Annalisa for a loop--but she could have had a long coffee break!
Let's get right to it.

But we start with Funky Katrinassau.

I don't think it's a Katrina, and even if I did, it'd still get BOS from me.  One of my favorite horn charts ever.  And Chuck Eddy, former Voice music editor, played this in his DJ set that I caught a slice of last Friday night, so extra TANC points.
“The choir of children sing their song.  They've practiced all year long.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.”

BOS2 macca, "Too many People". Is this happening, or is it the hash?

I doubt the latter caused "too many people / LOSING WEIGHT!"
