Running gag.  When I met Dave in college, his roommate was also named Dave.  This Dave became Dave* to distinguish, and still to this day signs off his emails that way.

...and Mark, to answer your question -- aside from the REM which woulda been a Dave bustout, I thought this set was rather Moreyesque, actually.  I love Ginger's '80s sets but I don't think this one was that far ahead of Dave. His '86 set from last week gets the nod from me for "Papa Don't Preach" alone. :wink:

Well actually, SIX of those songs would have been bustouts in the Darryl Db (not counting the Bruce Hornsby, which Dave plays in '87 sets).  The closest thing to a Katrina would, believe it or not, have been Art of Noise.
