Movie: Austin Powers 2.

a cover of "Draggin the Line"?  REM -- who knew? VHM.
Really? I wasn't listening carefully, but that wasn't Tommy James?

No, but a remarkable facsimile from the hands of Messrs. Buck, Mills, McCaughey et al.
Let's get right to it.

Jeez, I think Jack Johnson knows one riff and he builds all his songs around that.

(Movie: The Matrix)
1. Take A Picture - Filter
(Movie: American Beauty)
2. Praise You - Fatboy Slim
3. Concertina - Tori Amos
(TV: Will & Grace)
4. Steal My Sunshine - Len
(News: Clinton apology)
5. Mambo #5 - Lou Bega Jr
6. Maria - Blondie
(Movie: Austin Powers/Spy Who Shagged Me)
7. Draggin' The Line - REM
8. I Try - Macy Gray
(Movie: Magnolia)
9. Save Me - Aimee Mann
(Leonard Nimoy stokes Y2K fears)
10. Rodeo Clowns - G.Love feat Jack Johnson

Mostly a compendium of songs we've heard before but Tori Amos and REM were bustouts. Not sure about the G.Love/JJ abomination. Do rodeo clowns have bubbly toes?

AL hasn't uploaded today's set yet, but she did upload yesterday's ('81).

Surprised AL didn't play FFs.

While we've heard most of these (and some are pretty Katrina-ish) at least this set was noticeably lacking in KFOG staples. (I think the only one that qualifies is Aimee Mann, and maybe Filter.)  Not great by any means but it could have been ten times worse.

I think we should have a pool to guess where in the set the Foo Fighters appear. I'll guess that they're the TOTHK.
I'll place my wager on #7.
I'll take tune #10.

And the number is... zero.  The house wins again.
