Tori Amos, "Concertina"  -- well, not overexposed, tho' I'm not a big fan of Kate Bush Lite.

TV: Will & Grace. “This macho bully schoolyard crap is so 1983 I could vomit!"  -- clearly a reference to the current MLP backpack mishegas.

LN3: Len, "Steal my Andrea True sample"  WOS1 from me, I've never liked this annoying non-song.

BOS Blondie, "Maria" !!  -- AL played this once before as a request of mine. What a wonderful song that KFOG completely ignored at the time.

Macy Gray, sounding just as awful as she did in 1999/Y2K.

While I had some tolerance for "Why Didn't You Call Me?", I'm mystified as to why this was such a big hit.

A very poppy set, lots of keyboards and horns, and not much in the way of big guitars. So maybe we can yet dodge the FF bullet.
Let's get right to it.

Really? I wasn't listening carefully, but that wasn't Tommy James?

I'm giving it points for being a non-KFOG regular.   So far, the Tori Amos appears to be our only bustout.

Can't answer that, but I would point out that this paved the way for Amy Winehouse, Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings, and some of the other latter-day r&b chanteuses.

Is this Philip Seymour Hoffman?

What about the REM tune?
