The news clips

the thing that's sticking with me this morning are the Reagan clips.  It's hard to reconcile how bad a president he was with how saintly some people view him.

Ms Vega returns, with the Smithereens.  BOS 3, I'm astounded to be saying.

people see what they want to see. The left does it too, mind you, but right-wing evangelicals who believe in "god's will" tend to do it more.

BOS2 to "Coming Up Close," as Aimee Mann faintly foreshadows the performer she would become years later.

Mrs Michael Penn makes an appearance.  This is a Narada for me, I have no recollection of hearing it on the radio in '87.

School starts for me next week, so it's hard to say how much you'll see me around.  But, I might swing it with headphones in the science office if they let the stream into the sfusd network.

I have become addicted to the Daily Show, and have come to realize how much I rely on it for 'real news' now.  For example, where else, except the Christian networks, will you see a clip of Pat Robertson praying to the Lord for another Supreme Court vacancy?  I think that's news-worthy stuff, but I don't see it on other TV news shows.  But, I don't think I'll be able to stay up that late anymore either.

Was referring mostly to the fact that by the time this was released, she'd jettisoned the other surviving original Pretender and become a good bit slicker and professional. I just didn't find her work as satisfying during that period.
Let's get right to it.

When seeking "shelter" from the world outside, call Lone Justice; when seeking shelter from witches, gypsies and landslides, call Ms. Nicks.
