That would be KNBR, no?

Exactly, the early morning farm report.

I only own one album in SACD, and y'all would NOT guess what it is.

Me too, and I don't even have an SACD player.

saw them once at Fillmore West.  The first set was awesome.  The second set kind of put me to sleep, but at least they did have couches in back!

actually I was making a weak reference to this week's big local media firestorm at KNBR (the Giants station). But you may not be familiar, so never mind.

The Who: another band that, like the Police, seem to have gotten a resurgence from oldies DJs across the board in response to JACK stations playing the fuck out of them.

I will never tire of the Who, especially anything prior to 1980.  Tommy is still brilliant, I just recently got the SACD reissue.

I do.  Were they trying to get fired or what?

It's a rock disc from (I think) late 1967.  Legendary band, not-so-legendary album.

I thought it was incredibly overblown, actually. But it would take too long to explain.

...recorded at Fantasy Studios, it's CCR "Commotion".  Nice less than obvious choice by Annalisa!
