Why did Debbie Harry sprinkle French into so many of her songs?

VHM to "Call Me," but still.

Yet another question: What on earth was Mick looking for on 6th Avenue?  'Cause it sure ain't there now, whatever it was.  (Unless it was hair care product.)

The same reason America was briefly fascinated with songs sung in German a few years later: it sounds cool....

On the bright side- now all I get is mental pictures of Mick going into different salons- looking for just the right mousse. Everytime he can't find it he gets all spazzy like he does...

And this? Amuses me.

"West 8th Street and Sixth Avenue..."

Obviously, Mick was having a hot dog or three at Gray's Papaya. Mmmmm...

His other options at that intersection now are a Barnes & Noble, a bagel bakery, Go Sushi, a shuttered FYE, and a cell phone accessories shop.

I'm betting that Mick went with the pink flesh.
