BOS #3 Depeche Mode, "I Feel You".

reckon this isn't to everyone's taste here though.

Not recognizing this droning, monotonous thing. Hope it's song #10, tho'.

wow, shray informs me it's DM!  Live'n'learn  -- but a perfect example of what I said yesterday about how they got more popular as they got more boring

I don't think that was one of their more popular songs though (or at least I hope it wasn't...it certainly wasn't one of their better ones  :P)

Well, that was the first AL set that I've actively not-enjoyed. Which is a pretty good batting average for 8 weeks work.  That set needed some pop and/or R&B for balance, IMHO.

I think I picked a good day to listen to The Sound, although Flaming Lips and Breeders get my votes.

eta:  I'm hearing the set on my buffered online player, and I like the Dead Can Dance track.

BOS Pumpkins.  Listened to this album endlessly in 93-94.

Me too, along with Aimee Mann's "Whatever" and, uh, Meat Loaf's 'comeback' album.

Made it to #37 on the singles chart and went gold.  It got heavy MTV airplay at the time.

I like a lot of this, would have preferred Barenaked Ladies or Frente! or Duran Duran (if my memory's right).
“The choir of children sing their song.  They've practiced all year long.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.”
