Holee crap! BOS(5)FRA Silver Convention -- was this a bustout? Certainly a rarity.
I'm really diggin' the clavinet this time.

I can totally see The Muppets doing this.

Yep, its only appearance in the DB. Likewise for the Heart tune.
Let's get right to it.

Eek!  They look a bit like muppets in that picture.

Did TP already show up?  Maybe that was song 2 and I missed it too?

"Breakdown" was song # 3.

I was in a meeting on Wednesday, but listening this morning to the replay I realized what a great segue Dave had there.

From Jerry Brown talking about why he was running for president against Jimmy Carter into the opening lines: "It's okay if you love me.  It's okay if you don't."   LOL!
"Music is the Earth, People are the Flowers, and I am the Hose."

TANC: Vanessa Redgrave appears just as her daughter (Natasha Richardson) clings to life.

VHM Paddy Chayefsky, tho' Bette Midler got the point across last week in more entertaining fashion.

Paddy's a writer (".. propagation of their own personal political propaganda."), and Bette's a performer who needs her stage time.

I realized this morning that this was one of those sets where Dave played the Redgrave/Chayefsky clip in the wrong year. She won for 1977's Julia, the ceremony was in the Spring of '78.
